Everyone who knows me knows I just LOVE LOVE LOVE black and white so I thought I'd start off today's card with just that!
I didn't have any ideas apart from I knew I wanted polka dots with the sentiment I'd chosen.
I used my seasonal decorative masks (my go to when I don't have any Designer Series Paper) to make the polkas dots and backed it with black card stock. From there I stamped and punched out my pansy, adding another in black to offset it. Final touch a sparkly rhinestone in the middle. So that was my centre piece taken care of, time for the rest of the card! I'm not big on plain card so decided I'd use one of my embossing folders, and as I'm not using the full length of my card I could use my 6" x 6" Stampin' Up! one. For the inside I stamped some pansies and a lovely verse sentiment.
The materials I used were all Stampin' Up! apart from the sentiment and butterfly.
1 x A4 Whisper White card stock, scored in half to make an A5 card.
1 x Whisper White card stock cut at, 5 5/8" x 3 3/8" for Polka Dot piece.
1 x Basic Black card stock, cut at 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" to back my Polka Dot piece.
2 x Whisper White card stock cut at 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"
Seasonal Decorative Masks to make my Polka Dot background.
Festive Seasonal Impressions Embossing Folder for my top and bottom Whisper White pieces.
Basic Black Archival Ink
Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set
Pansy Punch
For not being sure on the final design I wanted I think it worked out quite nice.
Happy Crafting
